General Terms - Plant and Equipment Hire
- 01. Our terms are strictly net - receipt of payment being required by the end of the month following
date of invoice.
- 02. We shall be pleased to open a credit account on provision of satisfactory bank references etc.
- 03. All hire rates exclude VAT which is an additional charge.
- 04. A minimum charge of £5.00 applies on all hires.
- 05. The cleaning of any plant returned will be charged at cost
- 06. Our terms and conditions of hire are shown on the reverse of our "Hire Agreement" - a copy of
which is available on request.
- 07. Unless otherwise agreed in writing the Hirer is responsible for insuring against liabilities as
set out in the "Hire Agreement".
- 08. All plant offered at a weekly rate is based on a 5 day - 40 hour week.
- 09. Damage is chargeable to the Hirer's account - fair wear and tear excepted. Repair of punctures is
the Hirers responsibility.
- 10. Missing items are charged at full replacement cost and the Hirer will be responsible at 2/3rds
rate until the account is settled.
- 11. The Hirer is responsible for all fuels - water - grease - oils.
- 12. Transport to and from site is chargeable as an extra.
- 13. All hire rates and minimum periods of hire are subject to alteration without prior notice.
