Volumetric Concrete Mixer Driver HGV Class 2

Start Date: Immediate

Full Time:

This position is for an individual to carry out Concrete and Screed deliveries to various sites around the South East. Experience in concrete or the construction industry would be preferable but not essential. Mechanical skills would be an advantage.

Job Location: Crowborough

General Duties will include:

Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Making on time deliveries to a variety of locations as directed by the transport manager.
Be able to follow company procedures.
Liaise with transport manager regarding progress and delays

Skills and Requirements

A clean driving licence preferable but not essential.
HGV Class 2.
Valid Drivers Qualification Card (CPC card).
Must have a valid Digital Tachograph card.
Communicate politely and professional with customers on site.

Training will be given on the operation of the volumetric mixing process which is fairly simple.

Tarmac Rake hand and Screwsman

Start Date: Immediate

Full Time:

Coppard Civil Engineering require a tarmac rake hand and screwsman. This job is full time based from our Crowborough depot in East Sussex.

A permanent position would be offered after successfully completing an initial probationary period.

We are offering good rates of pay according to experience.

Applicants must be hard working, reliable and be happy working as a part of a team.

Some experience of driving excavators and dumpers is an advantage but not essential.

You will be required to drive vehicles so a current full driving license is required.

Machine Drivers - Skilled Operatives

Start Date: Immediate

Full Time:

We are looking for experienced, reliable operatives to operate a range of commercial plant ideally with a high level of skills on a particular type of machine. They should also be prepared to work as required performing non-machine tasks and working as part of a team. The position is based from our Crowborough depot.

The job is a permanent position after an initial probationary period.

You must have a valid CSCS card and previous experience is essential.

A current full driving licence is required.

Good rates of pay according to experience.

Estimator / Contracts Manager

Start Date: Immediate

Full Time:

We are looking for an estimator/contracts manager to work within our civil engineering team. The role starts at the point of an enquiry and will involve tendering, setting up and managing projects with values ranging from £2,000.00 to £300.000.00.

About the role:

Establishing Client’s Requirements
Prepare estimates and costs
Allocating labour resources
Overseeing of projects from costs, setting out, progress to completion
Liaising with clients and ordering of materials
Ensure all company documents are completed

About the candidate

Must have experience in estimating and setting out within a construction environment
Full driving license
Ideally based in the surrounding areas
